What Went Wrong - Spiderman Movie Poster Design

In the first episode of this series we will take a close look at the new Spiderman Homecoming poster, which got roasted by the online community and fans of the franchise.

I'm going to explain from a graphic design point of view what makes this poster bad and how it can be improved.

In the first half of this video, I compare the poster to other successful movie poster designs. Then in the second half, I show you the creation of a reimagined version to help you learn about composition.
