This course was life changing to say the least. Being a complete beginner to Photoshop, this course took me right from the basics to the more advanced photo editing techniques. The teacher is absolutely amazing and the lessons are well designed and detailed. Thanks to this course, I was considered for the marketing job I always wanted and I also offer freelance services to others now. It's definitely the best photoshop course out there and it's surely better than learning bits and pieces from different youtube tutorials which never really get you anywhere. If you are serious about photoshop and want to learn it inside out, I highly recommend this course.

I have been working on the Indesign and Illustrator courses and they are excellent. They are very complete and the level of detail of the courses is great for anyone trying to get a handle on Adobe products. The examples and the student exercises help me understand the concepts. I have gone to one webinar and felt that Martin is knowledgeable and makes a real connection with the repeating students that submit work for him to review and mentor them.

Martin Perhiniak is really the best teacher at all. He described each and every tool of the Adobe Photoshop in detail. His way of of teaching is very expressive. cool and humble. Yes I'm a Designer is one of the most recommendable courses I have ever seen. I am becoming a professional graphic designer after following all the master class courses here and completing other supportive courses. I enjoyed a lot while studying. What an amazing lecturer he is. I feel that Martin transformed me to a totally new profession through his course series and the continuous guides updating our knowledge upfront. I've taken courses from Lynda, Skillshare, etc., and know my way around the various Adobe products ok. However, I am really learning a ton from Martin. Even when I watch basic videos like "drawing" in Illustrator, I find myself saying "Oh! I did not know that!!" These courses are very well designed, and Martin is an excellent educator. Whether you are starting out or want to make sure that you are really getting everything you can out of Adobe products, this is a great place to do it. Yes, Martin has a lot of stuff on YouTube, but the information in the courses is structured and organized, so you can clearly progress and learn skills in an efficient manner.

I purchased the Illustrator  Master Class and am nearing the end of the course. I have really enjoyed Martin's clear and straight to the point explanations. I have tried other courses but never found them to be of this caliber. The Yes I'm a Designer program is a MUST for designers looking to up-level their skills. The courses are broken down into bite-sized videos that are super easy to follow and Martin shares all kinds of cool tips along the way. I would definitely recommend these courses to anyone who's either looking to become a designer or a designer who's looking to up their game in a competitive industry.

I actually took Martin's InDesign Masterclass course several years ago when I started working in communications, and I came out of it with the ability to be extremely efficient with one of my recurring tasks (monthly PDF newsletter). When the opportunity for professional development came up at work this year, I decided to go back to Martin's courses after having tried to up-skill other Adobe software using our company's Pluralsight subscription and not being too happy with the results. I was so glad to find out that Yes I'm a Designer now offers Premiere Pro and After Effects courses along with Illustrator and Photoshop, which made the monthly subscription a better sell for me at work (when I took InDesign, I only signed up for that course instead of going with the subscription, since there were much fewer courses back in the day). I just finished the Illustrator Masterclass and am working my way through Photoshop, and I can recommend the Masterclasses even for people who already use the software regularly but were initially self taught, so perhaps didn't know all the tips and tricks that can end up saving a ton of time on a project and make the tasks more fun. Obviously, if you're a beginner (like I was with InDesign back in the day), these courses are also perfect.

Teaching videos are clear and to the point. There is a logical progression. Creative briefs are varied and interesting. They span a wide range of Adobe software use and cover a broad selection of creative areas. The team are easily accessible via email and are very helpful in answering any queries. The community helps you connect with other designers who are learning. It's a great space to share your own work and see the work of others. You naturally feel motivated to create work (including personal work) to share. If you are serious about learning how to be a designer and working out which area of design you want to specialise in, I highly recommend their Pro Membership. I believe it's the best online learning service I've ever used.

I haven't changed my mind on the course since I first started. Although not a PS veteran, I was already familiar with the program, but there was so much that I didn't know, or better ways to do what I was already doing. Martin is a great teacher who's injected a lot of personality, thought and care into these course. Very easy to follow and I highly recommend this course as well as all the others!
