I actually took Martin's InDesign Masterclass course several years ago when I started working in communications, and I came out of it with the ability to be extremely efficient with one of my recurring tasks (monthly PDF newsletter). When the opportunity for professional development came up at work this year, I decided to go back to Martin's courses after having tried to up-skill other Adobe software using our company's Pluralsight subscription and not being too happy with the results. I was so glad to find out that Yes I'm a Designer now offers Premiere Pro and After Effects courses along with Illustrator and Photoshop, which made the monthly subscription a better sell for me at work (when I took InDesign, I only signed up for that course instead of going with the subscription, since there were much fewer courses back in the day). I just finished the Illustrator Masterclass and am working my way through Photoshop, and I can recommend the Masterclasses even for people who already use the software regularly but were initially self taught, so perhaps didn't know all the tips and tricks that can end up saving a ton of time on a project and make the tasks more fun. Obviously, if you're a beginner (like I was with InDesign back in the day), these courses are also perfect.

The Yes I'm a Designer program is a MUST for designers looking to up-level their skills. The courses are broken down into bite-sized videos that are super easy to follow and Martin shares all kinds of cool tips along the way. I would definitely recommend these courses to anyone who's either looking to become a designer or a designer who's looking to up their game in a competitive industry.

I had been using the "yes, IAD" on youtube to slowly learn what I needed to know on youtube, after a while, it just made sense to join the group. Once I had, my learning skyrocketed and I now have my certification test for illustrator booked and feel extremely confident about receiving my certification. I will stay a member to complete my career training.

I Want to learn dominate Illustrator, and Later , At least, continue with Photoshop and InDesign.

I love that I can learn at my own pace and I have a flexible schedule. The course and subscriptions are not expensive. And Martin, you really explains it very well. I found your course, when I was looking for tutorials on youtube and I found a conference of yours and I can copy the Celtic cross without problems. Emails and certificate preparation are advantages. And I found other courses, (even in Spanish), but that little I saw, they didn't explain so clear that you make. Really I think the best it's your offers a whole.

I purchased the Illustrator  Master Class and am nearing the end of the course. I have really enjoyed Martin's clear and straight to the point explanations. I have tried other courses but never found them to be of this caliber. This course was life changing to say the least. Being a complete beginner to Photoshop, this course took me right from the basics to the more advanced photo editing techniques. The teacher is absolutely amazing and the lessons are well designed and detailed. Thanks to this course, I was considered for the marketing job I always wanted and I also offer freelance services to others now. It's definitely the best photoshop course out there and it's surely better than learning bits and pieces from different youtube tutorials which never really get you anywhere. If you are serious about photoshop and want to learn it inside out, I highly recommend this course.

You naturally feel motivated to create work (including personal work) to share. If you are serious about learning how to be a designer and working out which area of design you want to specialise in, I highly recommend their Pro Membership. I believe it's the best online learning service I've ever used.
