We are excited to announce our second Design Contest on Food Packaging Design for real client Quito.  This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity and innovation in packaging design and win a $1,500 cash prize!

Here is some more information about the contest:

The Brief:

Kitchen essentials line of disposable product Range

Brand Name: Quito
Create Vector packaging designs for four disposable products:  

  • Aluminum Foil
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Brown Unbleached Parchment Paper
  • and White Parchment Paper.
  • The brand name is "Quito" and it is inspired by the capital city of Quito in Ecuador. Any cultural references are welcome on the design.

    Visual Style

    The aesthetics need to resemble tropical amazonian vibe, very vibrant neon colors, and with a strong reptile, snake skin, or tortoise shell concept. It needs to be something really eye-catching, fun, and cool.

    Size & Dimensions

    Vector design for all 4 product packaging using the dieline template - download the template here!

    The measurements for the containers:

    • Height: 2 1/3 inch

    • Width: 2 1/3 inch

    • Length: 12 3/8 inch

    The rolls for each would be a little different:

    • The Aluminum would be 200 sq ft

    • Plastic wrap 400 sq ft, etc. 

      however the containers/packaging would be the same size. 

    Target Audience

    For bakers, cooks, and anyone who needs kitchen essentials

    Deliverables:

    You can submit up to 3 entries. Simply put all designs into one PDF (max 10 Mbytes). (details of how to submit included below.)
