It is time to be terrified! Undead are rising from their graves! In this tutorial I will show how to convert a simple photograph of a real skeleton into a scary green-eyed monster.
Happy Halloween to everyone 🙂
I’m glad that I made it to PSDtuts+ today. You can watch a 30 minutes video tutorial by me on this popular Photoshop website and learn some really useful techniques to retouch photographs.
In the tutorial you can see some tricks, which will make you seriously think about upgrading to CS5 if you haven’t done it yet 🙂
I was presenting this e-seminar from the Adobe office near London about merging images together. I show exciting examples for using Auto-Align, Auto-Blend, HDR toning, HDR Pro and some other useful new features of Photoshop CS5 to create amazing panoramic photographs, dramatic montages and special effects. The presentation is 45 minutes long and it is the unedited recorded version of the live seminar.
A great new feature in InDesign CS5 is the quick and dynamic way to edit the corners of frames. In this tutorial you can learn more about this feature, and you can found out how to use the rounded corners for text wrap.
This tutorial uses the following new features: Gridify, Edit corners, Gap tool and the Mini Bridge panel.
If you always wanted to learn how to properly sharpen your images: here is the answer. I will show you how to do localised and overall sharpening completely non-destructively. Meaning you can always change the intensity and area of your sharpening.
If you want to know more about the pictures used in this tutorial, you can read more about them below the video. Have fun!
In Illustrator CS5 we have lots of interesting new features, which make life so much easier. These new tools can be applied nearly to any workflow, simple or complicated illustrations and they save you a lot of time and make using Illustrator fun.
In this tutorial we are going to create a colourful 3D spinning top toy. We are going to use the Width tool, the Draw inside mode, the Shape Builder tool, the Revolve effect, Pathfinder and Recolor artwork. Enjoy!
In this tutorial you can learn how to quickly create a heart shape logo in Illustrator CS5 using the Pen tool, Smooth tool, Reflect tool, Shape Builder tool and Type tool. You can also learn how to save Symbols in Illustrator to reuse them later or to make changes to them.
Keep in mind that a logo should be always as simple as it can be, but at the same time unique. You don’t need complexity to make a good logo design. Less is more 🙂
In this tutorial you can learn to create realistic blood. Beware, it will be a little bit gory! Don’t show it your kids and your grandma! I’m using a photograph and I draw the dripping blood on the picture trying to capture the volume and realistic look. I don’t use any special brushes or plug-ins (as usual) so you only need to find a photo to be able to follow this tutorial.
Please try not to start with your girlfriends photograph or the family portrait 🙂
This was the video tutorial that I created for the Next Photoshop Evangelist contest. I made to the finals and became the 4th at the end. I’m really happy that my work was chosen by the judges and my friends voted for me. From the video you can learn how to use the new feature of Adobe Photoshop CS5, the Mixer Brush tool to easily turn photographs into digital paintings, to enhance details of your artwork, to soften skin and to quickly create special effects.
